Miguel with flute in Sedona

Miguel

Tour Guide

An Arizona resident for 25 years, Miguel's Southwestern roots run deep. His Montoya ancestors arrived on a Spanish boat in 1598 helping to settle Santa Fe in the very year of its founding.

Not surprisingly Miguel developed a deep love for the Southwest as a child and made Arizona his permanent home at the tender age of 17.

Since 2003 he has worked professionally as an Arizona tour guide for many of the top tour companies, most recently Pink Jeep tours. His career includes thousands of diverse tours with many thousands of highly satisfied clients.

Highly skilled with any tour in Northern Arizona from Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, Sedona hikes, Sedona history, vortex tours, Ancient Ruins, and the Verde Valley tour including Jerome, Miguel has reached the top status among Sedona-based tour guides for his encyclopedic knowledge and charming character, endearing himself into the hearts of his cherished guests.

Miguel likes to say his dad was his first Southwestern tour guide, who is an expert and lecturer on the Spanish arrival into the Southwest.
